I have terminal server running and it is great. Problem is that it appears that it is not displaying more them 256 color. I have checked my epod to make sure the true color registry had was complete and it is. Any ideas? I would like to use a screen saver to display photos through terminal server on my epod but they won't look good at 256 color.
Thanks

yup. that's a temrinal server limitation.
options include: Citrix Metaframe on top of NT/2000, VNC (?), or wait for Whistler.

Get a Beta of Windows XP. It will have the functionality you want from Citrix.

Windows XP unfortunately will NOT give you more that 256 colors on the Epods. In order for XP to give this level of display the Epods needs a newer version of "client" software. Windows XP will work fine as a "terminal server" however, so one does not have to purchase Windows 2000 Server or Adv. Server. I hope this sets the record straight on XP as far as the display goes. It is unlikely at this point that MS will release a new "client" that will work on the Epods since most current PDA type devices are "pocket pc" or "palm" and this is the direction that I would expect the CE guys to work on. (FYI- I work for MS on the WindowsXP/Whistler developement team)

I'd like to use Term Server/Citrix/XP to run Media Player and output from the server to my stereo. Citrix did not give me access to the servers sound card. Haven't tried term server. Will XP let me do this?

I have searched and cannot find anything, just to start this off.
My friend is a DJ and he wants to use the epods to wirelessly run his DJ PC application. The only problem is that the DJ application requires a min resolution of 800x600. I have pcanywhere running on it at the moment, but the pan'n'scan action that it has to compensate for the different resolutions makes it very difficult to use. My question is for any of the other folks out there: Do any of the other applications out there (such as terminal services or Citrix or XP) sort of convert the picture without requiring you to zoom in before you click? I am not sure how it would even work, but I figure it can't hurt to ask.
