Needs recommendations: Calculator and Scheduler/To Do

Hi, im looking for good recommendations on a Calculator and a Scheduler/To Do List Prg.

JCalc does not seem to work for calculations (but the tip calculator does???) So thats a no go.
And for ACT it makes some noise about alarms not being set and i cant save any changes.
