Since lots of you want to use your epods as an E-book reader, I thought I would clue you in on thousands of free e-books online. Project Gutenburg is a non-profit project to scan in books that are out of copyright. Tons of classics and they are all in txt format. No special reader needed, just use pocket word.

Even better - this is a nice link to txt files, but if you guys go to:

http://www.preanutpress.com

http://www.peanutpress.com/makebook/download.cgi/04572456-81097-53173

This is a free windows utility that converts .txt files to an eBook that works with their peanut reader. It's kinda slow, it took a while on my 1 Ghz to convert Moby Dick from .txt to eBook, and I thought it had frozen - but it did work. Transferred the file to the Pods and Bingo.

The only problem is that the txt file's text didn't fill the whole width of the screen and as a result, it looks the same on the eBook file. If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know.
