Modem Cable Please Help
Lost cable for modem - how to find a replacement.

I am a recent Epods convertee. My problem is that I have lost the cable for my modem! Yeah, I know, how could I be that stupid? Anyone know where I can get either a replacement cable (preferred option) or other modems which will work? I am UK based, but can purchase from US suppliers if necessary.

Thanks for any help.

probably will be less expensive to hunt down a modem than a cable. it's a cirrus logic chipset, don't have the make, sry.

other modems should work if ce drivers are avialble.

good luck.

Here ya go. The modem that comes with the ePods is a (brand???) BFM5600-CF. You can find the replacement cables here http://www.##########.com/pc-4-1.html. I believe they are $22.00 each. You can also find quite a bit of information on this modem by performing a Google.com search for BFM5600-CF.

Okay, that was weird. The BBS doesn't like URL's today. Once again, the link to find replacement cables for the BFM5600-CF modem is http://www.cablesmor.com/pc-4-1.html . Sorry, I won't make this a clickable link in fear that the server will pound out my link again.

Thanks Steve
I spotted the missing n. For some reason the BBS doesn't like showing the name of this link - I don't know why. The correct name is cables#n#mor without the #'s!
In case anybody else has the same problem, I followed Katz's advice about looking on Google and I am pretty sure that the manufacturer's website is:
www.microflextech.com/support/pcmcia/bfm5600-cf/default.htm.

(The picture seems to match my modem). I have contacted their tech support, hoping they may send me one or point me to a local stockist.
