Does any one know if the terminal server client for ce 2.X write to the registery of the epod ?
my understand is that the w2k server ts issues licences for 90 days to client if no licence are there( straight out of the box)

1)If it does write it to the registery where?
The reason why I am asking is that I saw the price for terminal server w2k ( 5 user)ouche

If this is so do you know if you remove the registery entryon ce device after the 90 days will this extend the time to get the lic. I was reading an article at www.thinclient.com which they state if i remeber correctly if remove the registery entry it will extend the time?

If so does anyone know if the microsoft Universal kit come with w2k terminal server lic (5 units)?

if the epods do not need ts client please advise thanks?

The server needs to be licensed, not the clients. As for licensing the server, you can run TS in "Administrative Mode" (or something like that) -- this gives you the ability to have 2 or 3 clients connected simultaneously. You do not have to buy licenses for this. The caveat is that if you go this route, you must log in from the epod to the server as an adminstrative user. For most of us, this is no big deal, but your security is your own business.

I'm running TS on Win2k server on two boxes. I can connect to either of them from my epod with no difficulty over peer-to-peer wireless. This required no special licenses.
