And if you are too busy for that, I'll answer your questions now.
1. It wasn't "winCE 1.02" you installed. It was the "ePods 1.02 hack" you installed. This converted your ePods to a bastardized version of WinCE somewhere between v2.11 and v2.12.
2. You attempted to create a "partnership" when you ran ActiveSync. The ePods doesn't support partnerships. Try again and this time answer no when asked about this. Once ActiveSync is connected, you will be able to browse the ePods from your desktop, and install standard applications.
Inevitably, you will find yourself banging your head over other issues as you learn the basics on the ePods. Search the archives -- practically everything you can come up with has already been answered.
