Okay, I searched and read just about all the threads relating to terminal services and any ideas to speed up and enhance my Epod. I want to thank all of you who have contributed to the working order of my epod. Now here is the question.
Where in the heck do you get server software without breaking the bank?
I have tried a couple of x servers with out luck (nothing but proxy services). Can some one please lead me in the right direction. I really don't want to spend $500 on a peice of software just for my Epod.
For $6.95 you can get a "trial version" of Advanced Server directly from Microsoft... it expires in 120 days... there are hacks available online that will defeat the timer... (go to google.com and do a search on "crack windows 2000 advanced server" )...assuming you can put up with seeing "evaluation copy" on your desktop all the time in the lower right corner, that should fix your woes...... I guess it works... haven't tried... but heard it does....
