Why aren't people using the swap meet area to sell their ePods?

I'm curious about why there are so many "for sale" posts here in the ePods forum when codeman was so kind to provide us a Swap Meet area on this board.

I not trying to play "net cop" or anything like that. I'm just trying to understand people's motivation.

Well, I'm assuming that my post was the "spark" for this thread so I'll respond. I simply didn't see the "swap section." I guess I didn't bother looking for it since I saw all of the FS posts already on this board. I therefore assumed, perhaps incorrectly, that the moderators were allowing it for some reason. I read the threads of the other FS posters and didn't see any complaints, so voila... I copied their lead. My apologies for any wrong-doing.

DonBlack: I sort-of figured that is what happened with your post. I was going to ask the question before I saw your post.

My other guess is that people are trying to reach a "select" group of buyers. An "ad" in the Swap Meet forum may reach a more people and increase the chances of making a sale. This is why I'm puzzled by the posts here.

FS/WTB posts don't usually bother me very much, but lately 1 in 3 posts in the ePods forum has been falling into this category. AFAIK, the board does not have moderators for the individual forums (yet). If we do a good job of policing ourselves they won't be neccessary.
