Terminal Server Client Question

I have continue to read about the wonders of TS and the epod, so I setup TS and can connect from other PCs on the network.

I have also established a wireless connection with my epod over the network and can surf the web.

Yet, I have not been able to successfully connect my epod wirelessly to my TS PC. I type in the name of my TS computer but always receive the message "The server could not be found. Check that you have specified the correct server name or IP address, and then try again."

I don't see many options to this proceedure so I am at a loss as to the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would love to join the Epods/TS ranks.

Using SMC wireless cards (or a variant thereof; I found the Learty cards are identical to SMC cards in every way), I occasionally only seem to get a 2Mb wireless connection to the LAN. When this happens, I cannot use my normal Terminal Service connection, it does just as you describe. I had similar problems with low-speed dial-up (via PCS phone) until I checked the box during the TS client wizard that says 'low speed connection'. After this, for both my 2Mb SMC wireless LAN connection and the PCS dialup connection, I was able to access my server. Don't know if this is relevent to your setup, but worth noting.

Keckster,

In your message you mentioned "...type in the name of your TS server...". Try typing in the IP address instead. That is how I connect.
