Use a really soft t-shirt until you spill something on it or something. Then go buy the touchpad cleaning wipes -- those round CD wipes work too. Nothing with cleanser on it, nothing abrasive, and if you have to press hard to get something sticky off, make sure to recalibrate the screen afterward.
I have had excellent luck with Fellows screen cleaning wipes - designed for Laptop screens. They are about $5- 1- at Office supply stores. After you get it noce and clean, cut a clear transparency sheet to fit the screen and use 2 small pieces of tape to hold it in place - you now have a clean screen protector that costs about 20 cents.
