help..
I am trying to update the proxim.dll file..
but I cannot replace or delete it..
I tried to get to the properties page for that file and try to unchecked the Read Only.. but it was greyed out..
It seemed that the proxim.dll file is located in the ROM.
Anybody know what I can do to delete this file?
I am running the 1.02 version of the shell hack..
Do I need to go to 2.04?
What I did was rename the new one as proxim2.dll, then go into the
registry editor under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Comm/Proxim/ImagePath and
changed it to proxim2.dll. This lets me leave the old driver and
use the new one. The new one lets you set the security word and
also puts a little antenna/box icon in the tray. When you have a
connection, it shows two little icons with a wave between. When not,
it has an X through it.
