I just bought an laptop for $1200. for purely monetary reasons, I have to sell my Epod.
The epod has been hacked to 2.04.
I also have a NMEA standard GPS receiver together with the pharosGPS software providing GPS location and routing.
I also have bought a car adapter which will work with the epod.
in addition, I also have tons of software for epod. I will put them on a cd and send along to the buyer. Softwares include, calligrapher, pharosgps(the GPS software which has map for all cities in US), pocketstreet (as well as street 2001 so you can create you own map), also monopoly, mobibook(ebook reader), quicknotes(handwritten notes application), and much more..
also, I will sell the 32MB kingston compactflash I have been using with the epod.

if you want wireless access at home with your EPOD. you can buy the PROXIM wireless gateway _AND_ the PCMICA wireless PC Card for only $99 at tigerdirect.com. It's proven to work on EPOD. People had to spend at least $200+ for PROXIM gateway and PC CARD for it a year ago
