Noticed that whenever I do a warm reboot I lose my taskbar & brightness settings. Anyone have any suggestions? Using CE 2.X.

I just put the relevant control panels in my startup group to remind me to set them again. (I also lose my doubleclick speed.)

Unrelated question / answer but how is your 2-way satellite system acting these days....I am reading of a new service called direct way ....supposed to be better...are u having problems with v23-24 of HS? v23 appears to be working OK for me...installing more cameras and a second video server....

DirectWay is *supposed* to be better, but it seems unlikely that it will be. It'll just be cutting its teeth for a while, while Starband has worked out at least some of its problems. In any case, I doubt DirectWay will ever be any more than the main thing Starband is: better than dialup and worse than everything else. If dialup is your only alternative, get Starband; otherwise, avoid it like the plague.

My HomeSeer build 23 works fine. But I don't do camera stuff -- there'd be nothing to look at.
