Losing connection in Terminal Server

I'm using an ePods with a Linksys wireless card, using the Compaq drivers linking to a Linksys wireless router in Infrastructure mode with DCHP active. I'm using Terminal Server on a Win 2000 Advanced Server.

My problem is that the link fails often - usually when a complex web page is loading - but not always. The link quality is generally about 30%. It is driving me crazy as I have to reset the ePod then restart Terminal Services each time it happens.

Any ideas anyone?

Regards

Nigel, I have the same problem though with 2000 but it's not frequent enough to be irritating...as I continue to use
the Epods as my WEB tablet....I am using a Lucent AP-1000 with various shads of cards (bronze, silver and gold)....intially when the first few Orinoco CE updates came out it did improve some....think most of the issues are related to the power hungry wireless NICs....not so much the software....

Thanks for the suggestions - but I'm getting a 'freeze' from TS about three times every half hour (sometimes more) so it is very inconvenient for me - seems like it is only happening to me too, as it is happening infrequently to you and possibly others.

Does anyone know how I could fix this?

Regards

Nigel
