I hope you you find this posting. I have sucessfully programmed in VB and C++ for the epods. Check this post:

The only bad thing it's been at least 6 months and I can't recall diddly. Luckily on my epods storage card I set up a folder that said VB runtime dll. I think I was experimenting with what dlls needed to be in the windows directory when running VB and what win ce could live without. Anyway, the dlls in my folder were as follows:
mfcce211d, olece211, pvbdecl, pvbform2, pvbhost2, pvbload, vbscript, vbsen
Also, how are you doing it. If I remember correctly, I made and tested in the emulator, changed over to the hp pro(or maybe it said mips) and then it auto packaged the dlls and the program over the null modem cable. I then moved the program off the epod and onto the storage card to save space.
I hope that helps. If you read my post I was trying to inspire some epod programmers but to no avail. I hope you get it working.
