Hi, I’ve recently become an ePods carrying member and am having trouble with the drivers for my WaveLan card:
I’ve spent a lot of time trying to get the ‘Winter 2002’ v7.4 release to work on the ePods unsuccessfully – Symptoms are that launching Control Panel hangs the 'pod after installation. Deleting wvlan.cpl cures this. More importantly the 'pod does not recognise the insertion of the WaveLan card – without a driver installed it reports ‘unrecognised card’ once the 7.4 driver is installed it doesn’t report this but the lights do not come on on the card and I have no network connectivity.
I managed to find the original CD from the WaveLan card which included the ‘Winter 2000’ drivers – v4.6. These install fine and work mostly fine (even with DHCP if the network name is left set to ANY).
My problem is that with extended network use the 'pod hangs and requires a soft reset to restore.
Reading through the forum archives most people have reported success with the v6.x series of WaveLan drivers however scouring the net I have been unable to find these anywhere for download.
