Here's how to have a hard reset and not have to install the useful CE Apps
What is new in 2.03-TS:
-Terminal Server CE Client
-Lucent Orinoco Silver Card
-Calligrapher
-Nyditot Virtual Display (Needs Reg Key $20 from http://www.nyditot.com !)
-Conduits Yes Utility

Changes from the original 2.03
-Screen timeout is set to 30 minutes
-No click noise
-No Mouse pointer
-Remapped top left button from Internet Explorer (CE) to Screen Contrast and Brightness Tool
-Remapped top left button from Control Panel to Green shortcut (which opens Terminal Server connection)
-Due to Space restrictions on the Win_CEFiles disk I removed PMail.exe, IMAP4.dll, SMTP.dll and MFCCE211.dll from WinFiles. There is a backup of these files in the BackupV203 folder if you need them later.
-All games removed, and ping/trace Apps removed due to space restrictions. There is a backup of these files in the BackupV203.zip if you need them later.
[All deleted files can be added after a soft reset to there original location. Registry still has there entries. Also the original hack to upgrade IE work after a soft reset.]

Excellent news in that I have rebuilt mine about 4 times now with drivers you mention using TS and letting the batteries run

I'm a bit puzzled here - is this a new version of TS - and if so, can I just install it without having to re-install the whole 2.04 shell?

As far as I know there is only one version of Terminal Client for the Epods, it's a bit of a mouth full:
"Microsoft Terminal Server Client for Windows CE, Handheld PC Edition 3.0 and Windows CE, Handheld PC Professional Edition 3.0"

This hack is different from 2.04 becuase the 2.04 shell looses useful apps once you do a hard reset. In 2.03-TS it hard-resets with the extra apps pre-installed in the Epods. So you don't need to use ActiveSynch to reinstall my/your old apps:
-Terminal Server CE Client
-Lucent Orinoco Silver Card
-Calligrapher
-Nyditot Virtual Display
-Conduits Yes Utility

This Hack is to help people that are lazy (me in particular) and don't want to waste a day re-installing apps after a hard reset.
