I'm new to wireless card and I searched the site (found some posts and the question still remains)before posting this for help/suggestion.
I just bought a orinoco gold card and tried to use it with my epods hacked to v1.02. The card works well with my laptop computer and show firmware as 4.04/8.1. I download the latest driver/software for win-ce from lucent website and installed it via activesyc. The software recognized epods and installed the program to its default /window drirectory. I was able to find the orinoco client program at Start/program (though the machine's start menu does not response as swiftly as before). The big problem is whenever I tried to start the client program, the machine hangs and a "desktop" box show at the taskbar. I can bring the machine back to life with a soft reset. Any suggestions? Do I miss any DLL files? Anywhere I can find the old driver worked for people on this board? Thanks

I'm having the same problem. Is there anyone who has an Epods working with an Orinoco card...and, if so, what versions of (a) the hack, (b) the Orinoco drivers, (c) the Orinoco card itself (and Gold or Silver), etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Check the groups.yahoo.com/group/epods. It has drivers for orinoco card. I found this yahoo group only a few days ago through solarfish's new hack post. It works great with my orinoco gold card for TS (Hack v1.0). Credits go to solarfish.

OXXH: thanks for the recognition, though of course my hacks are really only tweaks of the stuff thats gone before.
The hack can be found in the files area of the yahoo group and I can usually answer any questions there. Note that the hack was developed for use with Orinoco silver cards as I don't have golds, but it may well work with both. Also the hack will only install the drivers, you will still need to set up the client with the appropriate AP or Gateway.
