Slow to get network connection.

Why does it take so long for my epods network connection light to come on. I am connected to my LAN which centers around a Linksys cable rounter. When I turn on my epods I have to wait, and wait, and wait before I can access the internet or a PC on my network. Once I am connected, everything moves pretty quickly (for an epod). Anyone have any Ideas how I can make the connection quicker.

Help me Obi Wan Kenobi, Your my only hope.

It might be taking a while to get a DHCP address. You might try setting a static IP address and seeing if that helps. (Exactly how you set this depends on which NIC you're using. It's more than likely in the registry somewhere.
