I have put together a new hack which I have placed in the files area of the yahoo epods group (groups.yahoo.com/group/epods).

The hack has the following features:
- New version of Tascal RegEdit (0.70)
- Orinoco wireless installed
- Terminal Server installed
- Calligrapher installed
- TapRight installed (opens on start up)
- Screen click disabled
- GMT as default time zone
- Sounds associated with IE page loading disabled
- Mouse pointer disabled
- Desktop background removed
- 57600 serial connection as default for activesync

There might be some other minor changes in the registry.

Instructions for installing it are as follows:

It comes as two zipped files, one to replace the contents of Win_CeFiles on the ePOD as per previous hacks and the other to be placed on the CF card. You must install both for the hack to work, infact the registry editor is now on the CF card along with the reigstry file, so you will get nowhere without it.

Once the files are transfered, simply do a hard reset, go through calibration, ignore various pop-up messages and you will arrive at a blank screen with a start button.

Go to Start > Programs > System > TascalRegEdit and open it.

Then import the registry file called v206.txt (yes it is .txt not .reg) which you will find on your storage card in the Tascal folder.

Once the registry file is imported, simply do a soft reset and everything should work.

If you have any problems or questions please contact me through the yahoo group as you will get a faster response from me there.
