| Just wanted to give everyone a heads up - I've come across a great, easy to use winamp controller that works via HTTP in the ePods browser. While I use terminal services for 'real' web surfing, I never liked starting WinAmp on my main PC and then using Terminal Services to control it - if the epods turns off, its a pain to get it back up and none of my WinAmp skins look very good in 256 colors (also Terminal Services prevents me from using my PC and TV for visualizations). So, I cam across snowcrash and a few other HTTP control interfaces, but the only one that I could get working well on the ePods was WEBAMP (http://www.ulfco.com/webamp/). I've customized the number of tracks displayed and the size of the frames to optimize the GUI for the EPods. It really works great - glad I didn't have to create something like it from scratch. | |
