I have a problem with my Icebox desktop(the older tv model).I purchased this unit a few months ago,and used the dvd drawer to play a few movie dvds, and it played fine, but recently tried to play some movies, and when I put in the dvd disk in the drawer the unit seems to start, but then stops, and says no disk.It plays the music cd fine but not dvds for some reason. When you put a disk in the unit its suppose to start, and says cdda, then you press play, and its starts playing.I thought the disk I used may have been scratched or dirty,as I tried many dvds.I tried cleaning the unit with a cleaning disk, but the only one that will run in the unit is one for a cd player, the one for a dvd wont play.I also tried to up-date the unit with the up-date disk I got with the unit,it up-dates fine, and even plays the tutorial disk that came with the unit, but dvds still wont play in the unit for some reason.Salton was of very little help, and they have replaced this model with a new one.The company is no longer called CMI (Coach Industries) its called Beyond Connected Home now.Since they have replaced this model, theres no support or warranty.Does any one have any ideas how to fix this problem? jtech | |
