Okie-dokie...everything's working beautifully. I'm on Terminal Services logged onto my desktop computer with my Netgear MA701 CF in a PCMCIA adapter. The ePods is on battery power. All of a sudden, POOF! The lights go out (on the ePods) and WiFi drivers completely DISAPPEAR! I know the ePods will shut off when idle to conserve power, but I forget from time to time.
This has happened to me several times. I actually keep a copy of the PRISM cab file on my CF card, and copy it onto the ePods hard drive to install it. No problem. But what do I do about the Netgear MA701 drivers? I don't know how to install them without Active Sync. A cab file for the Netgear MA701 would be marvelous.
Or is there some other way to restore the MA701 drivers without using Active Sync? I was thinking of backing up the registry, for starters, but don't know what non-registry files to copy and where to put them.
I'm hoping to find a way to work around this annoyance. I really wouldn't mind losing files if I could find a way to restore them without active sync. I have nothing against Active Sync - it works fine for me, but sometimes it's just not convenient to use.
So I'm asking for a cab file for the Netgear MA701 or some way to restore this driver without using a host computer.
Thanks in advance.
