I have been reading the Hack your epods web site and still need some
help. I just purchased and epod and am setting it and a new laptop up wirelessly
to a new wireless router that is connected to my desktop that is running WinXP Pro.
The router had to be the Linksys Vonage Voip Wireless Router WRTP54G due to my phone
service being through Vonage and needing the wireless compatability
for the epod and laptop.

I also have a Linksys Instant Wireless WPC11 802.11b ordered that
will be here tomorrow. My ISP is also wireless. I guess my question
is...

Will I still need a Null Modem Cable as stated on the hack site or
do you think the wireless card will work right off the bat? If not, how can
I get the right drivers for the wireless card since I
don't have dialup service. What use is the serial port and the usb ports
on the epod? Can a mouse be used? If so, how? Can one of the USB ports be used
to connect to my desktop puter? Will a CF be the only solution?

I am just an old housewife from the days of DOS and some of this
stuff is over my head. Please s-p-e-a-k--v-e-r-y--s-l-o-w-l-y--s-o--I--c-a-n--
u-n-d-e-r-s-t-a-n-d--y-o-u!!! Oh I did manage to do one of the hacks...the one
to bypass the logon screen! Yikes! I am learning something and could be dangerous!
