how to add an "Encoding" to IE4?

New Messagehow to add an "Encoding" to IE4? (modified 0 times) cestar
Currently, I can't get IE4 to display GB encoded Chinese. Does anyone knowhow to add an encoding method in IE4? I have the font file. And by adding the mobibook asian language pack, I can read Chinese in Mobibook. I also installed ce-star for HPC pro, but still can't read chinese in IE4.

I know I can read chinese on pocket pc's IE, so it should be possible.

Hi cestar,

Do you have to install a chinese system like ce-star to read chinese book? I only install asian languge pack for mobibook and still it doesn't display chinese (I changed the advance display to either Big5 or Gb code). Did I miss something here? Thanks for help.

Figure it out myself. I should do more research before asking for help.
