OS version

New MessageOS version (modified 0 times) R-C-R
OK - I'm clueless. I looked around and can't find an answer to this question. Which version of WinCE does the ePods run.

I'm thinking of getting one, but want to have a clearer idea of what it is. Is it a WinCE 2.0 or 2.11 machine? Something else entirely?

Oops...apparently after the hacks it's CE 2.11. The Esex website in Korea says 2.12 so now I understand why you are confused. Perhaps someone else can shed more light on this.

After the CE shell hacks, it's actually a combination of 2.11 and 2.12. Certain 2.11 files missing from the stock ePods configuration were added to the 2.12 files resident to the unit. Keep in mind that 2.12 is officially an embedded release, basically meaning that more of it is burned to the fixed ROM and that it's mainly designed to be used with specific-application, rather than general-purpose, devices (like a web-browsing tablet, for example). You might say that a hacked ePods uses 2.11 1/2.

I think the version is 2.12. Cause CE has started to support USB since 2.12, not 2.11.
I'm waiting my epods... ^_^y
