Profile
I don't know that anyone is looking at 802.11 (not 802.11b) solutions, but just a heads up so that no one wastes there time. The Sohoware CableFREE products to not work with other 802.11 devices. From Support@sohoware.com:

Unfortunately, our CableFREE products are proprietary and will not work with
other wireless devices.

Regards,
Technical Support

Also, due to this, I suspect these products won't be around very long. Maybe in a few months we can get a bunch for pennies, but I won't go spending good money on them hoping you can grow your network (or even replace dead units).

I bought Cablefree PCI and PCMCIA cards. Will epods work with this scenario?
cablefree does not have CE drivers. Will any other driver work?

Cyberguy -- it looks like you answered your own question -- when was the last time hardware worked without drivers?
