I'm sure it would work but it wouldn't allow the epods to create a partnership if that's what you are thinking.
You'd still only be able to just exchange files.

The epods is missing several dll files in ROM required to establish a partnership (causing the out of memory error when you try to do it).
Windows CE 2.0 programs' compatibility vary from machine to machine, some work and some do not, like trying to run Windows 95 programs on Windows 98 -- technically it *should* work but sometimes there are just system discrepancies that hinder it. Also having an incomplete OS in the epods does not help.
