Hyperterminal for Epods?
Is something like HyperTerminal available?

I know that the Epods has the " PC Link " for active sync.
Is there a communications program like HyperTerminal for
the Epods that I could use with the serial port?

I'm probably going to be visiting a customer's site and
would like to talk to our machine there with the Epods,
just serial at 19.2Kbps.

Thanks in advance

If you check the software list (http://www.geocities.com/epodssoftware/), you can give TeraTerm a go.

Thank you very much. It works great!

Sorry I did find it on my own. It was late and I
was on a machine at home, which didn't have the
Epods sites bookmarked.

pegterm.exe is in the windows directory. Does the same thing as hyperterminal. Is it just me, or is it really odd that Microsoft makes solitaire and pinball games and bundles them with their operating systems, but won't take a couple of days to craft a decent terminal application?

I'm a big fan of Tera Term, actually using the desktop version as well, including SSH. I think www.softseek.com has the desktop version, handheld version on epods software site as linked above.

on the epods:
Just "open serial port", 9600-N-1 and this thing makes an awesome console.
I spent all day and most part of the night installing some SUN equipment, network storage devices, and accessing routers and switches. Just right there, in one night, the epods was worth every single penny.
Plus having the Excel spread sheet with my inventory list available via the SpreadCE program at the same time is a nice bonus. I did an entire solaris 7 install via the epods.
