How do you delete or move an application??
It seems that activesync doesn't remove an application from my system even when it says it did.

I want to delete an application from my epods and when using the activesync software I can select the software to delete, get a warning that Im about to delete something, but afterwards, the app is still there. How the heck do you actually delete the programs??

Also, is there a way to move a program to cf once it's installed?

Thanks!!

The uninstaller part of ActiveSync doesn't work with the 'pod in my experience. You can trash the program on the 'pod, of course, but unless you know which files were installed along with the executable, you're better off leaving well enough alone. After I figured out which apps worked for my needs, I did a hard reboot and reinstalled them all, so the bits and pieces of the other apps I tried but don't want were deleted. As far as moving apps to the the CF after install in RAM, a few don't care (except for shortcuts you need to replace), but many do. Experiment. Just remember, you can always do the hard re-boot and try again. This way you will get the most from your available RAM.

Thanks for your reply ubik!

I am running the 2.04 hack. What will doing a hard reset do to the hack, will it survive? I am curious as I think I'm going to try what you suggested.

I wonder how everyone is doing the memory hacks and how the epods is restored back to the 2.04 hack after replacing the memory.

You can get an idea about what files were installed on the epods by looking in your activeshare folder on the desktop computer. After installing a program it keeps the installation files on the desktop. The filenames are kinda messed up, but you can usually figure them out. NO idea how to find what gets put in the registry however.
