epods modem trouble dialing
question on dialing out

New Messageepods modem trouble dialing (modified 0 times) joejoel
I just got a new unhacked epods. I have been following the instructions on the hackmypods page, but when it says to use remnet.exe to dial out my epods just sits there.
I set up all the config and dialing props but it doesn't seem to dial. Am I doing something wrong?

I had trouble with the thing at first. Several things can go wrong . The default seems to be to dial from area code
206 and to dial from work. So, hit force local and check "from home" intstead of "from work" or edit the dial prefix
strings to eliminate the "9" at the start. The speaker doesn't seem to come on when you dial in any case, so it
is difficult to debug.

Glimester-

Thanks for your comments, I am having the same problem (connects for 2 seconds and then disconnects) and have already tried everything you suggested. When it dials it has the letter "T" in front of the number. Does everyone have that? If not, how can I get rid of it?

Also, sometimes when I click on the connection I created, it says:

"REMOTE NETWORKING - Invalid paramter on command line"

It doesn't do this all the time, I usually have to go through that error message three or four times and then it mysteriously works.

One more also, I have the local country code set to: 1
Is this messing me up?

Anyone who can help it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
ouzome
