Source for Individual DRAMs

New MessageSource for Individual DRAMs (modified 0 times) duvell
I have found a source of DRAMs that should work for the DRAM upgrade of the ePods rev 1.1 and 1.2.

Disclaimer
I have not personally tested these parts but I have ordered some and plan
to use them to upgrade a rev 1.1 ePods. Do NOT blindly order these without
doing your own research. Order only if you are convinced yourself that these
will work. I am only reporting a source of parts I believe are compatible.
Use this information at your own risk.
End of Disclaimer

In searching for the Micron Parts that were reported to work on rev 1.1
boards, I came accross a manufacturers cross reference list and found
part numbers for other manufacturers of equivalent parts.

I cannot find the cross reference list now, but the only manufacturer part
I could find for sale is from Hyundai, the P/N is HY57V651620BTC-7.

This is a 3.3V, 4M x 4 Bank x 16b SDRAM with a speed of 143MHz. The
data sheet can be found here: HY57V651620BTC.

I was able to order this part from Questlink. The price per part is $11.40
and the minimum quantity for purchase is 1. I ordered 2 to test them and my
total order including tax and shipping was $32.68.

This company also had the Micron parts for about the same price.
But they required a minimum order of 108 parts.

I will report back after I try using these ina rev 1.1 ePods.
