Hacking the Nada Websurfer

The nada pc websurfer and the epods look like the same exact product. Does anyone have a nada websurfer (no S*it about the cost of the thing... this has nothing to do with it) that they've hacked and what success have you had with it.

Dude you dont have to be so defensive about the price, i mean if you are one of those people (like me) who are paying near $20 bucks a month for an ISP whats wrong with paying a couple of more dollars a month to get an epod? or better yet have you seen the HDTV they have! if i had a local access numbwr in my area i would drop my ISP and change to nada so i could have a HDTV , you know you have to keep in mind also that there is probably about a 78% chance that the company will fail within the next 8 months to a year! and if that happens then there is a good chance you will get out of contract anyway! oh and before you people say why pay $20 bucks a month for an ISP why not use a free one, well i have to have an ISP because i use Direcpc (the satellite dish). anyway i just wanted to speak my mind about that, and yes i do think the shipping price they charge is a rip but besides that it's no biggy.

later,
Mike

I'm betting that the company is going to FAIL. BIG. I've tried to get one via the web site and phone. But they didn't accept any orders for 4 days because the cgi scripts were hosed. What a way to do business!! Anyways... with this in mind I was going to order one and bet that after 5 months they run out of money go belly up, and I end up with a unit with no contract.

Just a thought!

Now has anyone gotten one and hacked the damn thing.. btw i just paid 300 for an epod on ebay. Man this feels like the old days of the i-opener!! Whats next??
