Huh. I have a couple of potentially interesting things to add to this. First, Siemens is no stranger to tft touchscreens. I have what I would guess is basically the same screen (8" 800x600 TFT Touchscreen) that they use in a ruggedized point-of-sale terminal (do a web search for SNIKEY to see what it is).
Next, I see that they only show a 2 hour run time. This is probably due to the TFT power requirements. I for one am thankful for the long life pod design. I would never trade a TFT screen for such a short run time.
Finally, I note that, just like the pod, this unit comes with Pocket Word, BUT NO OUTLOOK! Hmm...
Personally, I like the pod better. But it is interesting to see so many different vendors coming out with similar products (that is, webpads). Thanks for the link!
