external cd-rom?
is it possible

New Messageexternal cd-rom? (modified 0 times) Dai_Shan
This is going to sound pretty dumb, but can you hook up an external cd-rom into one of the usb ports? does windows ce support them?

The epods only has USB support for keyboard, mouse, and printers.
If you find a USB peripheral that includes CE drivers it should
conceivably work. But there is no gaurantee since there are numerous
software applications that "should" work but do not for one reason
or another, most notably missing required library files.

I suspect there may be some external USB storage devices (and more to
come) that support CE. But chances are they would only support the
PocketPC CE 3.0 platform.
