Is there a 'better' picture viewer (for the 'pod') than the Resco? My Resco demo has expired, would the $20 registration be better spent elsewhere?

With a little HTML coding, you can make a slideshow viewer out of internet explorer. Get an HTML book and create an html for each picture, something like:

<HTML>
<meta http-equiv="refresh" contnet="300;file://xxx.html">
<IMG yadda yadda yadda>
</HTML>

If you have a web server, you can write a server script to generate the custom HTML pages for you.

I just use Internet Exploder (er, Explorer...). I pop the CF from my digital camera into the ePods, navagate to the storage card and double click on the xxx.jpg files - no other program needed...

example at the end of my auction (pic of my son in bathtub) here.

I had (possibly incorrectly) assumed that the original poster wanted some sort of automatic slideshow program. Maybe he didn't. Also, using HTML allows you to specify imager size so mega pixel digital photos scale to fit on the screen. IE (IE3 anyway) forces you to scroll around to see the image.
