| So, Glitch's memory upgrade from 16mb to 32 allows us to the open more windows and get better processing overall, but it does not significantly increase the graphics speed of the epods(i.e. downloading web pages from the internet). And Saridnour's hack to upgrade the display from 8 to 16 bit improves the quality of the graphics resolution, but still not the speed. So, how do you increase the speed? On a pc, you could add video memory (independent of CPU memory) or upgrade the video card. But how about on an epods? Is there a way (hack, software, hardware, whatever) to allocate more of the epods' memory specifically to graphics display? | |
