If indeed UPS is responsible, get a new ePods. If not... you would be best off to buy a new ePods if you have a use for one because a backlight (fluorescent) display of that nature with a four-in/out touch screen overlay wiring sequence is probably going to cost you as much as a new ePods and eZex
(the Korean company that made them... [let's all give props where they're due; this was an easy and inexpensive modification to devices none of us paid enough for] will not warranty anything other than a fully supported device, meaning that unless you want to drop $650 for a manufacturer's sample you will have to count your blessings...) could care less.
LCDs, even the DSTN ones like the ePods are not cheap, and could easily account for half of the manufacturing cost (which is probably very much over the total price of an ePods). So, count your $199 good fortune, hope that someone comes out with a CE 3.0 build for them, and e-mail me if you like the site I wrote about integrating your 10/T network card...
Suffice it to say, free lunches are great if you can get them, otherwise, UPS has a lot of money...
