BSD for ePod (or CE3!)

When I get my MicroDrive, I am going to mess around with BSD, as has been said before it is supposed to boot on the epods and is listed on the HPC/BSD page.

I am new to this, so I was wondering where I should start. How far has anyone gotten with this? Any success at all? I know it was discussed briefly a while ago, but any new developments?

I was also wondering if anyone had come any closer (or tried?) to getting WinCE 3 built for epod. I remember someone saying that they had a platform builder kit.
