brinker,

The Cisco card was pretty easy to set up, granted the AP's were already configured so all I had to do was to download the drivers from here and follow the intructions in the downloaded file. Oh yeah, and to copy across mfcce211.dll to the \Windows directory. That makes the configuration utilities work on the ePod.

Hi Matt,

I've got both a 340 and a 352 aironet card, but can't figure out how to use the driver..
I've got that exe file you've linked to here, but it only extracts one dll, 7 exe's and a bunch of html pages.
Where are the instructions?? I have looked and looked, but found no instructions on how to install it.

I copied the whole aironet directory of files to the epods, and moved the dll into the \windows directory as you said.
The utillities work allright, but it seems like the settings aren't stored as they are gone the next time I run the program (ACU).

Also, when I insert the 340 card, it doesn't recognize the card... just says "Unidentified PCCard Adapter" and tells me to enter the name of the driver.

ANY help is most appreciated (and I'll be looking around the board a bit more too.

Best regards,

Sorry, my posting was premature. I found the answer. I did not know that I had to put the name of the dll in the dialog box that gave me the "Unidentified PCCard Adapter" message.
It's recognized now, so I hope to get it working.

Best regards,

Hi,

Glad to hear you got it working in the end. Im writing this from my ePod through an SMC 802.11 card and access point. Being able to use it without any wires makes it so much handier. $300 for the kit, one AP and a Pcmcia card is very reasonable I think, from buy.com.

Cheers,
Matt
