The system did take the order, and they haven't cancelled (yet). Prior to that date they were always out of stock on the site, so something changed to get them to claim in stock (and hopefully that something was actual stock!) Best, Bill 03-12-2001 11:05:26

(modified 0 times) ePodsHopeful Persistence helps, I have been calling Neiman Marcus for the past week 2 times a day and surely, last friday, they finally took my order for an ePods for 199 and said that they are expecting a shipment this friday and hopefully will be able to send mine out. So right now I have an order for an ePods which shows backorder status and hopefully they will not cancel my order and LET ME HAVE MY EPODS ! So does not hurt to give them more tries. Besides, they usually pick up the phone rather quick so it should not take too much work to just crank call them once in a while. That's how I got my name on the backorder list. And from what I know, once they put you on back order, the chance of receiving one is kind of high. I re-ordered just 1 unit on 2/21 and the order status just recently changed from backordered to completed and shows an arrival date of 3/23 (must be duct taping it to a llama courier for delivery or something) 03-14-2001 17:11:18
