Does a mouse drive Pen?

Does the pen need a mouse driver?
Windows 2000 Pro (installed by me on my 1200) does not work the pen or vica versa. I noticed there is no mouse installed, do any of you think a mouse driver installed would make the pen work?

All I can suggest is to look around (on the web that is) for serial port "pads" there were a bunch made...maybe you can get lucky and find one that is similar...

I think what "YouBecha" is talking about is locating the drivers. The pen pad works like the digitizer built into the screen of the 1200.
