I have several Stylistic 1200's and have some applications that I need to use functions that are not on the Win95 On Screen Keyboard. I also have a Stylistic 1000 that is loaded with Win 3.1 and the Keyboard that it uses with PenServices is a complete keyboard. Has anyone tried using that PenServices on a machine running win95 or 98. Or Is there another keyboard available out there that has more functions than the one for Win95?
I've come up with the installation disks for CIC PenX 1.7, which includes the nice on-screen keyboard with function keys, but it seems to make the pen go haywire. I've also isolated the files to install the same keyboard that is included as an accessibility feature in ME, but trying to use it on 98 causes a problem with shell32.dll. If anybody wants to try getting either of these to work and knows a place where I can easily upload (or send blank floppies and I'll make a copy) let me know.RecycleSave@aol.com
Giz! You Da Man! I've posted the on-screen keyboard with function keys to my "library" at http://briefcase.yahoo.com/recyclesave under "Stuff". I guess everybody who uses it should send a check to Microsoft, CIC and Madentech? Or just pay The_Giz and he'll take care of it?RecycleSave@aol.com
