2300 - Win95 pcmcia support & Win98 screen rotation

I'm trying to get my 2300 up and running under Win95 (I think it is Win95b).

Everything works fine - except the pcmcia socket, which of course means I can't get my pcmcia network card going. If I install Win98se the pcmcia socket/ethernet card both work fine with no extra effort, Win98 just recognizes them and loads appropriate drivers.

Have I forgotten something about Win95 and setting up pcmicia? I've checked the Fujitsu support web page and downloaded all the Win9X drivers, which I have installed.

If I go to control panel and tell it to locate new hardware I can force it to load Windows drivers for pcmcia, but it still doesn't work and the pcmcia entry is "X"d out in the device listing.

Actually the only reason I'm trying to load Win95 is so I can play around with screen rotation. The Fujitsu rotation driver off their web page works great under Win95 but not at all under Win98se. Does anyone know where to lay hands on a Win98 rotation driver for the 2300?

I also cannot get the rotation driver to work in Win98. The pen orientation switches, but the screen doesn't. Also, it gives an error message on startup after changing the rotation. The readme says only Win95 is supported, but it is listed on Fujitsu's support site in both the Win95 and Win98 areas. Anybody know what the real deal is? I would love to have portrait mode.
