Pressing F2 just after power on enters the setup program. There are a few interesting things in there. Mentions suspend to disk. I wonder if it is file or partition based. We may need a utility to set this up, haven't tried it yet as I just got win98se installed. You can also turn off the boot logo and see the post messages as it boots, I always find this more reassuring than just staring at a pretty logo.
