Has anyone gotten win98 AND the pen/stylus stuff working on a Fujitsu Point 510
device? I pulled the working, win95 drive and replaced it with a win98 drive.
Win98 detected everything on the 510 Execept for the pen.
I tried to load the win95 pen stuff for the 510 and they would not install.
I tried to load the win98 stuff for the 1600 and it installed, but as soon
as I tried to enable the pen stuff in the win98 settings, I got a 'blue screen'
and the speaker started going nuts. No joy there. ;(
Anyone had any success with win98 on one of these 510s?
I got it working. Rather than trying to add the Pen as a devices, you need to add the Pen Services as a Windows componet. Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, Windows Components (or Setup or something), Have Disk. I hope this helps you.
Using 98 lite on mine, with the 95 shell. Speed seems fine (for 100Mhz). Didn;t really use the factory 95 install much, but it seems about the same to me.
