no audio
anyone else had this problem?

Recently the audio died on my 1200. If I tap the speaker button (mute/unmute) I do hear a beep, but in windows I have no audio coming from winamp (or anything else). I tried un- and re-installing the sound chip drivers, to no avail. Yes, volume is up, and no, windows is not muted...has anyone else ran in to this problem? Any ideas?

Now thats interesting...the problem just fixed itself after several reboots...anyone else have this happen?

sometimes when I unplug the headphones the speaker doesn't reconnect. Dirty or corroded contacts in the headphone jack. I'll spray some contact cleaner in it one of these days.
