Infrared keyboard for fujitsu?
Using the infrared port for wireless keyboard

Without using a receiver module that would defeat the purpose of a wireless solution, is it possible to set up an infrared keyboard with the Point 510 (or for that matter the Stylistic 1200)? Evidently the keyboard would have to make use of the on board infrared port. I have no experience with infrared so I am not sure if there are propriety designs or whether any old infrared keyboard will work with the infrared port. Any and all thoughts and help would be appreciated.

Thanx,

Cure

I have a Stylistic_LT. It has an optional IR keyboard that is very expensive. I tried using 3 or 4 of my many IR keyboards with it. None worked until I got to the Audrey keyboard. It works great but is missing some keys OOB (out of box)normally found on the standard keyboards. I didn't try any more keyboards because I didn't want to dig them out. Not very scientific but filled my need. Hopefully some more info from others will come.
BTW..I purchased a "half-keyboard" (wired) and love it!! All the standard keys are packed onto a <4" X 6" board that you use with one hand. http://www.halfkeyboard.com Expensive and IM(not so)HO worth it.

Hey all; granny still around keeping an eye on you "boys".
