I'm trying to buy a good external keyboard to plug into my 1200. I've located a small keyboard (Jaaje brand) which is about 300mm long (about 3/4 length of a standard keyboard - slightly longer than the length of the pen-tablet)and seems to have a fair few "multi-media" options. Only problem is that i need a serial splitter to also plug in mouse. Does anyone know of a small keyobard that has an inbuilt mouse where you don't need a splitter with ? Or if no mouse, a decent keyboard for the 1200. Why can't they have one where you can connect the mouse to the keyboard, like the Mac keyboards ?

I do NOT recommend the little keyboard that came with the 1200. No windows keys, and, at least on the ones I've got, the colon doesn't work in DOS!? How do you type A:\ without a colon? Meanwhile, check out http://www.dsi-usa.com/input/combination.htm and http://www.fentek-ind.com/minikb.htm and there's some strange stuff at http://www.microscience.on.ca/specialhard.html
