Connected GPS III+ to the 1200 tablet, started MS S&T 2001, but the all the entries under GPS menu are all greyed out, also the tablet could not find new hardware.

Do I need a driver for Garmin GPS? It did not come with any software.

BTW GPS has the communication protocol set to NMEA.

This product does not install the GPS software by default. There is another file, and I cannot remember where it is, but either it is in the Docs, or I found it on the MS site...it is a simple install, but I had to search to find it.
